It all Began when…
I picked up a hula hoop at Kam 3 on Maui. One of my son’s friend was having a birthday party and there was, bright sparkly face paint, balloons, and hula hoops. I had the time of my life. Swirling, twirling, everyone laughing while brightly pigmented keiki “kids” and adults played into the sunset.
This is the heart of Island Girl Face Art.
I have been a working professional artist, creative or “multi-passionate entrepreneur” for over 9 years. My favorite mediums are painting, writing, acting, filmmaking and dancing. I am a professionally-trained, fully insured face and body artist, balloon twister, henna artist that has worked on Maui, NYC, CT, ME, DC, and Oahu. I am also certified Hoop Dance (Hula Hoop) teacher through Hoop Revolutions. I’m also a professional SAG-AFTRA actress as well as a writer and producer. I also do Intuitive Readings for personal empowerment using, tarot, oracle cards, hands, tea leaves, and Lipsology (the art and science of lip-print reading), and astrology through my other company, The Wild Wahine.
